Apple launched Dark sky earlier this year, and iOS 16 Benefits from having that well-regarded weather app on board. If you're in the United States, Apple's built-in weather app will now contain a minute-by-minute graphic showing how much rain or snow to expect in the next hour. Weather in iOS 16 will also include warnings for severe weather situations such as tornadoes and floods in the United States, Japan, Europe, Canada, and Australia.

Other Weather improvements include multi-day precipitation forecasts that reflect the likelihood of rain shortly and better indications of when the temperature may substantially rise or plummet from one day to the next.
