What to expect from Apple Watch 7?

Apple Watch is undoubtedly one of the most premium smartwatches that you can get in the market. It boasts a sleek design language and has a ton of features that are amazing. In addition, the Apple Watch lineup has consistently gotten better and bigger. The same goes for the OS of the watch. Since we already got a look at the new WatchOS 8 at the WWDC, which showed us some unseen features that the previous Apple Watch did not have. This new OS will feature in the upcoming watch.

There are a lot of rumours and speculations in the market regarding the upcoming Apple Watch. Previously we were expecting a more rugged watch to launch as a “Sport Model”; however, it is no longer the case. Therefore, the release of the sport model is pushed back to next year. You’ll need to keep the same expectation for biometric sensors update, which is also to be pushed back for the Apple Watch 7.

So what is the Apple Watch 7 going to feature?

The new Apple Watch 7 will feature a faster processor, improved connectivity and a new screen. In addition, the new watch will have thinner borders which will look stunning with the improved screen to body ratio. The display will also be closer to the front cover, and the watch will be slightly thicker than the previous model. Although, Apple is keen that the difference in thickness is not noticeable.

The watch will also feature the new watchOS 8, which will have many new and upgraded features. One of the key features is the updated ultra-wideband functionality similar to that used in the AirTags. It will allow the watch to act as a digital key for unlocking doors at home, office and more. The new OS will also have improved Wallet and the Home app features. Apple has also added new features regarding fitness with newer exercises and the inclusion of the Mindfulness app.

With the launch of AirTags, the new Apple Watch will have a dedicated Find Items app that lets you locate items quickly. In addition, there are plenty of other changes made to the Music app, Weather app, and Messages App. The Focus feature introduced to the iOS 15 will also sync to the new Apple Watch 7. Along with more apps supporting Always-On Display and AssistiveTouch with newer hand gestures for improved control.
