iPhone SE 2020 was a massive success, so it is only logical that Apple would want to double down on their tried and tested mention. That is, giving their premium features and design on a more affordable package. If you are an Apple fan then, you’re probably keeping a close eye on this release. Even if you’re not into Apple, this probably interests you as iPhone SE 2020. However, being an affordable smartphone gives many android smartphones a head-on challenge. So what is to be expected of the new iPhone SE 3?
Apple only ever drops little crumbs whenever dropping a new model iPhone. Design
There are mixed rumours out there regarding the new iPhone SE 3 design. As Apple loves to keep us on the edge of our seats, it might not reveal the design language soon for the new iPhone. Though using the same iPhone 8 Plus revamp with beefed-up specs might seem logical, it might be a turn-off for many people. The 8 Plus design is quite outdated compared to the bezel-less screen design of the newer iPhones. However, you might keep your hopes up as there are certain rumours that the design will be just that—a bezel-less screen design with a punch-hole camera. Keep your fingers crossed!
Cameras
The dual cameras on the new iPhone SE 3 would be ideal; however, it is improbable. Since Apple had to take much heat because of the iPhone 12 Mini, it might not want to undercut the model entirely with the same cameras on the more affordable iPhone SE 3. The speculation, however, the iPhone SE 3 could be launched as a replacement to the iPhone 12 Mini altogether. Apple might still use the tried and tested 12MP single camera and give us its 8MP selfie camera.
Storage
The phone is likely to be available in three storage options starting from 64GB. The phone’s RAM will be 3GB, given that iPhone SE 3 is to be in the front line of the affordable line-up. Since we know how efficient iPhones are getting, this should not be a significant issue.
Battery
iPhone SE 2020 seemed a little lacking when it came to battery power. The same old 1821mAh battery almost seemed invisible compared to the phone available in the market today. Apple might improve this, however, in the new iPhone SE 3 as the company are all ears in the past few years.
The new iPhone SE 3 was expected to announce this month but got postponed. It is rumoured to be launched in late 2021 or could be pushed back to 2022. So certain things are clear.
